Across the Junín area, the Andes begin to open into the Amazon basin. Natural slopes, heavy rainfall, rich soils and dense organic growth help shape the character of ginger and turmeric grown there.
For applicable cold-pressed juices, nearby crops can move from harvest to processing the same day. Processing where the crops grow avoids days of domestic raw-crop transport and gives the product no time to oxidize in extended transit.
