Fields & facility

Processed fresh, the same day, on site where it's grown.

No time to oxidize.

For applicable cold-pressed juices, SGT connects harvest in Junín with same-day intake and processing close to the fields.

Harvest to processing

Fresh crop. Short movement. Immediate control.

This sequence applies to the cold-pressed juice crops handled through SGT's close-to-source model.

  1. 01Harvest in Junín

Crops begin in the Amazon-region growing area.

  2. 02Same-day facility intake

Applicable crops move to intake without days of domestic raw-crop transport.

  3. 03Cold press at the source

Applicable juice is processed and frozen close to where the crop is grown.

The proximity advantage

Days or weeks of raw-crop transit are replaced by same-day processing.

Distant processing can require days of domestic transport. Crops shipped internationally before pressing can spend several weeks in transit. For applicable cold-pressed juices, SGT instead processes fresh in the growing region.

  • Greater freshness and consistency
  • Reduced opportunity for oxidation
  • Connected traceability and controlled handling

Junín & the Amazon basin

Where the Andes open into the Amazon basin.

The Junín area includes valleys, natural slopes, heavy rainfall, rich soils and dense vegetation. For ginger and turmeric, the balance of moisture, drainage, soil life, heat and sun exposure matters.

Natural slopes help move water through the soil. Proximity to the farms gives SGT direct control over the movement from harvest into applicable washing, cold pressing and freezing.

Organic control at the source

Certification-backed production begins in the field.

SGT's organic emphasis extends into agricultural inputs and handling, including OMRI-listed fertilizers, disinfectants and other inputs approved for organic production.

OMRI listing applies to the inputs used; OMRI is not presented as an SGT certification. Confirmed conventional options remain available as a secondary path for selected products.

  • Approved organic inputsControlled fertilizers, disinfectants and field practices.
  • Certification-backed programsOrganic claims supported through documented market programs.
  • Connected traceabilityA clearer path from agricultural origin through processing.

Built for professional buyers

Fewer separate handoffs to manage.

SGT coordinates export from Peru with US import and commercial logistics. That connected approach can reduce the number of separate supplier, import and delivery relationships a buyer would otherwise need to coordinate.

  • Source-region and processing coordination
  • Export and US import experience
  • Commercial delivery aligned to the buyer's destination
